of Public Health
The Master of Science in Public Health is a 60 quarter hour, 15-course program with three areas of concentration: Health Planning, Health Policy, and Environmental Health. The M.P.H. program focuses on public health areas such as epidemiology, education, administration, ethics, and financial management. |

| Master of Geriatric Health
The Master of Science in Geriatric Health is a 60-quarter-credit hour, 15-course program that prepares individuals for long-term care
management of healthcare facilities for the elderly and other social
and economic impacts of a long-term care professional. Coursework
will focus in such areas as leadership and management, geriatric
healthcare law and ethics, epidemiology of aging, and business
management. Students will also choose from two concentration areas:

| Master of Science in Human Movement
A.T. Still University offers this 14
course, 42 quarter hour Human Movement
(M.S.) program which is designed to assist
students in the development of comprehensive
knowledge of human movement science, functional
anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, as
well as functional assessment and program
design. Graduates of the ATSU Human Movement
(M.S.) program will receive the highest
quality education in human movement, performance
enhancement, and corrective exercise through
a flexible distance education format that
enables healthcare providers and those
practicing human movement, fitness, and
wellness to gain the knowledge, skills,
and attitudes necessary to provide leadership
in advanced human movement services. There
are three concentration tracks to choose
from: Sports Conditioning; Geriatric Exercise
Science; and Corrective Exercise, which
is a partnership program between ATSU
and the National Academy of Sports
Medicine® (NASM®). |

| Doctor of Health Education
The Doctor of Health Education degree prepares the student to become a
practitioner and leader in health profession education. This online
program is designed to meet the needs of the busy professional. The
D.H.Ed is a 9 to 15 course program depending on your educational
background. The applied dissertation is included in the required
courses. This program is designed to challenge students to examine
the current state of healthcare education and their individual roles
and responsibilities within it. Graduates will be recognized as
innovative leaders in educating their patients, students, peers, as
well as achieving excellence in policy development, program design,
management, implementation, and evaluation of local issues. |

| Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
This 40 quarter hour program is for the licensed physician assistant. For the PA without a bachelor’s degree, a non-bachelor degree track is available. The program offers three areas of concentration: family and emergency medicine, forensic medicine, and education and leadership. Graduates of the program will have demonstrated a competence in their respective specialty area along with a strong academic foundation that enhances their ability to practice in a varied clinical and administrative setting. |

| Master of Science in Advanced Occupational Therapy
This 42 quarter hour program is for U.S. licensed occupational therapists who wish to learn about current issues and new procedures in the O.T. field. In this program, the student will focus on areas including critical thinking, issues in mental health, legislation, and evidence-based practice. |

| Doctor
of Physical Therapy
The transitional D.P.T. program is designed for practicing physical therapists already holding a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree who wish to enhance their skills and professional status. The length of each student’s program of study depends upon their current level of education, experience, and skills as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association’s “Normative Model of Physical Therapist Professional Education, Version 2000” and a possible evaluation using the Physical Therapist Evaluation Tool (PTET). |
